Ammonium chloride is a odorless, cool and salty colorless crystal or white crystalline powder. It is soluble in water and slightly soluble in ethanol. Its aqueous solution is acidic, and the acidity increases when heated. It has humidity-inducing property. Although hygroscopicity is small, it is easy to dehydrate and agglomerate after hygroscopicity. So it's better to store it in a dry and ventilated environment.

Ammonium chloride is divided into two kinds according to its use. One is ammonium chloride for industrial use, which can be used as electrolyte for carbon-zinc dry battery and is widely used in electroplating industry. One is agricultural ammonium chloride, which is mainly used as nitrogen fertilizer.

Use of ammonium chloride:
