Hydroxyapatite is a colloidal calcium phosphate, Hydroxyapatite, which is widely distributed in human body and milk, and is mainly distributed in human body. In bones and teeth, milk is mainly distributed in casein micelles and whey. In essence, it is a highly interlaced polymeric calcium phosphate polymer having a molecular formula of Ca 10 (PO 4 ) 6 (OH) 2 , wherein the molar ratio of calcium to phosphorus is 1.67. In bones and teeth, calcium and phosphorus are mainly in the form of colloidal calcium phosphate crystals, and together with collagen proteins constitute a complex network structure.
Modern medical research has found that the absorption of calcium by the human body is a complicated process, but one thing is certain that the human body is the most easily absorbed by the natural calcium source in animal milk. One of the prominent features of these natural milk calcium is the main component. It is a colloidal calcium phosphate with a calcium to phosphorus ratio of 1.7 (molar ratio). Although these calcium are difficult to dissolve in milk, they can react with casein in milk to form a stable suspension without precipitation. These special milk calcium are important for protein stability.
The main components of colloidal calcium phosphate are calcium phosphate, calcium citrate and potassium citrate. The most notable feature is that the product has calcium: phosphorus = 1.7 (molar ratio), which is exactly the same as the calcium and phosphorus ratio of human bones and teeth. . Colloidal calcium phosphate is not exactly equivalent to ordinary inorganic calcium phosphate. It is a highly interlaced polymeric calcium phosphate polymer, specifically called Ultra-polyphosphate (UP) or Hydroxy-Apatite (HAP). Colloidal calcium phosphate has stronger chelation and acid-base buffering capacity than metal phosphates. This property makes this product have important application value for dairy processing industry.
Colloidal calcium phosphate is used in a wide range of applications, including dairy, beverages, confectionery, baked goods and calcium tablets. In natural foods, dairy products such as fresh milk have the highest calcium content. If calcium is completely obtained from these foods, the biggest problem is that you must consume a lot of food to get the calcium you need, and you will consume a lot of calcium. Calories and fat, therefore, the intake of high calcium food is the best way to supplement calcium. The calcium content of colloidal calcium phosphate is 24%, the calcium content of fresh milk is 100mg/100ml, and 0.1g /100ml of colloidal calcium phosphate is additionally added. The finished calcium content of dairy products can reach 120mg/100ml, reaching high calcium milk. Requirements.
